Boca Raton (June 30, 2016) – Promise Healthcare President Richard Gold announced that Kimberly M. Montes, BSN, RN, MHA, CPHQ, FACHE, will serve as senior vice president and corporate chief clinical officer of Promise Healthcare and Success Healthcare. Montes will oversee all 24 long-term acute-care (LTAC) hospitals, short-term acute-care (STAC) hospitals and skilled nursing facilities (SNF). These hospitals and facilities are supported by 7,000 physicians and healthcare staff across nine states.

Montes’ responsibilities will include developing the vision and direction for clinical strategy, and ensuring that the proper support and resources are in place to achieve the highest level of quality outcomes for all facilities. She will also provide leadership and guidance for all aspects of nursing, service excellence, patient safety and quality initiatives.
Prior to joining Promise and Success Healthcare, Montes served as senior corporate director of clinical services for Cornerstone Healthcare Group based in Dallas, where she oversaw 19 hospitals nationwide. Through her 25 years in the healthcare industry, she has led teams in various leadership roles, including chief nursing officer, chief clinical officer, director of quality, risk and case management, inpatient manager; and case management liaison.
Montes received a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, a certificate in disaster management from the University of Dallas, and a bachelor of science in nursing from DePaul University. She is an active member within the National Association for Healthcare Quality and American College of Healthcare Executives. Her
impressive list of credentials also includes: Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), 2008; Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), 2005; certificate in disaster management from the University of Texas, 2005; and registered nurse (RN), 1998.
